Doing Chores

Encourage children by talking to them about doing chores. Make boring chores come first. Set boring chores before they go play with the iPads or the computers. Tell them they have to do their chores first before a free time can come around.
Don't let them have free time unless they have done all of their chores first then they can have free time.

Let them make the "choice". If they decide not to do them then they can't have free time.
No computers no nothing. They will have to just find something else to do instead.

If they make the choice to do their chores praise then with words like "good job" or "keep up the good work". Praise is always good to try and encourage them to do their chores.
